looking at getting a new S40 2.0 diesel.
anyone know the average wait time ?

been told 2 months at my local volvo dealer.

Who is your local dealer? Both frf and keith price are good, so if that's what they quoted...

my nearest dealer is Lloyd Motors in Aberaeron.
i thought of frf swansea but they're 60 odd miles away.
2 months just seems a long wait so i may travel a bit further, i'll give frf a ring.

2.0 S
standard car, i looked at a few options but they just weren't worth the extra they cost.

only thing i specified was the color, titanium grey pearl.

the standard kit has everything i need, heated seats would be nice but you don't really need them with cloth trim.
i've always liked the color, the only other car i like in that color is an MG ZS, power grey i think they call it.

the test drive car was the S40 DRIVe 1.6 diesel. nice car and only £35 road tax but felt a bit lacking in the oomph department.
the 2.0 diesel turbo is basically a ford lump and i know that has enough power to suit my needs.
all in all i'm happy with my choice. a big plus is my wife likes volvos and was impressed with the new S40's.
