1st there are a few small dents to sort, looks like it's been poked with a stick.
there's also a small graze on the rear bumper.
the lower grey plastic will be sprayed to match the body, the grey trim on the front and back bumpers will be black.
next year will see new wheels, possibly lowered.
front fogs.
induction kit and a decent exhaust.
maybe a spoiler.
i've not really thought any further. tight budget and all that.

It does look bad when the trim turns grey. Shoe polish is a temporary fix, or peanut butter (apparently)!

Are you happy with it (the car)?

cally, trecwn, west wales

benji, thanks for the offer but when i said a tight budget it was more like "can i afford petrol this week", just bought the car, insurance and tax. wedding anniversary next week, xmas in a month. very tight at the moment.

colin, i have my trusty cherry blossom readywax ready for the trim, worked wonders on my old primera.

as for being happy with the car, it's great so far.
wife loves it as well.
it takes a while to get used to a 1.6 after driving a 2 litre.

Is there a reason that you went for the 1.6 over the 2.0 or the t4?

it's a long story but the car just turned up at the right time.
it's probably time i slowed down a bit and got something more economical anyway.

i've been saying it for years, 1st time i ever did it.
we don't do many long trips, mainly just school runs and shopping so it makes sense really.
but i refuse to drive a "compact", horrible, nasty little things.
i like a bit of comfort.

at 52 next month, i suppose i am getting a smidge old. Very Happy
but i still outdrive boy racers, don't need power for that.

on a more serious note, the mpg is quite impressive so far over 220 miles on half a tank.
all short trips, the longest being 15 miles. and i do have a fairly heavy right foot.
i'll be interested to see how it fairs on a motorway.

it's surprising the difference it makes.
